Photography services: Pricing Guidelines

As an independent photographer, I operate what can be called a "jobbing" photography business: quite simply, helping customers by providing the high-quality images they need for the purpose at hand in a very pragmatic way. This covers the types of services mentioned on the "Services" page, or indeed any other need for photographic images.

For most of these types of work, it is very difficult to set a price without first talking about what exactly is needed. This means that I prefer to speak with clients face-to-face beforehand (especially for weddings). This is my preferred way to work, as that way, the price can be as attractive as possible and the results are what the customer wants.

Still, as a guide, the following table gives some 'typical' prices, which include everything needed to deliver the digital images on CD-ROM or similar (no hidden extras, except transport costs if outside of the general Brussels area or if prints are required). I always work at the customer's location of choice - I do not maintain an expensive studio, which allows me to offer very competitive rates. (BtoB, please allow for 21% VAT).
